Default Custom NA Header. Tig.

I got caught in the HT header hype so i decided to upgrade, i was using a DC 4-1 2.25. With all the DC bashing, i thought anything else would be better so i made my own. Its a spark racing design goin in my DD with a B20V. Its not an exact copy but its made to suit my application. It fits ac and ps and makes do with a stock oil pan. Its got a great ground clearance too. Best thing is it didnt cost me $1,000

I figured my 2.0 could breathe better with this than the crap dc i have.

What do you think? or

i woudlnt say its gonna be the best performing. cuz of the angle of the collectors. however it does look very nice and craftmanship is great.

I doubt it will perform any better than the DC header. The same collectors are there, just angled a little different. Now it will take up more room, though.

i am willing to bet it will make more power than the dc. His 2.0 needs that 2.5 collector. The header looks like it should flow awsome too but who knows... glad you got rid of the dc with that little 2.25 collector. Where did you buy your flanges? and collectors or did you make those yourself? looks great hopefully YOU will notice a difference Either way it came out great and thats a very nice looking header

indeed, the merge point looks to be angled a bit much. nice work though DIY

Im not claiming it will outperform your thousand dollar header, and i would love to do a header test, i just wanted a header w a 2.5" collector. Flanges and collectors are all custom.

Why is it in every thread I see you knocking someone piece that they made for their car. Every thread you post something negative and find something wrong with it. I know you weld nicely yourself and make quality pieces but stop knocking everyones fab stuff.

Go back and read some of your posts and you will see what I am talking about. If you want me to find them and pm you them let me know.

thanks,
Gabriel

Another reason why it didn't cost you $1000 is because you didn't charge yourself for the labor hours that you had into the piece Good job.

? i said it could be made better but craftmsnship was great. i know hes doin it on a budget. i gave him props its constructive critisism. i didnt go " hey your stuff is CRAP " i actually think it looks very nice. however if he wanted to make a lil more power he could by using parallel merge. im sure he knows that too. i just told him a flaw i saw. but also the upside of what he was doing. i dont think it was negative at all.
overall he did ask

i always give my reasons for thinking something is of lesser quality or how it can be made better. i never make claims i dont have reasoning for.

gabriel, if you want dig up archives and PM them to me. if i come off like a jackass I apologize. However, you need to show that to me cuz i guess i've never had any complaints about my work or my business or overall my personality. This truley is a 1st time someones confronted me.
