Default how to modify dc header

i have a chance to get a dc header for 50 bucks...as of know i only have the stock one with a punny usdm down pipe part. I have heard u can modify the dc so it is not a piece of ****. Could someone please elaborate for me

Pretty simple. You cut off the collector from the DC header, and weld in a piece of 2.5" exhaust piping.

and will u acutally get a nice gain for that, or would it be better to jsut buy a diff header

will there be a diiference in power?

one more question...is it best to reset the ecu everytime you add a new mod to the car. Since its OBDII?

i want to know if anyone has made this possible...i have a dc 4-1 header and i want to modify it so it has a 2.5" collector too...

okay now which header is that...doesn't look like my ceramic 4-1 header. looks more like the 4-2-1 header...

quick way to mod the dc header....
find a really tall biulding
go to the top floor
drop dc header off
return and file claim for damages
save extra 700 dollars and buy a good header

just kidding. the 2.5 inch collector mod works ok, but you still wont see real benifits unless you have a header made just for your application
