this is gonna be the second i bought its a molded rubber and i can't even come close to torque down the bolts to the specs... are there any cork or any with the metal ring in them i would use?

go to autozone. the gasket is like $10-$15. and then put permatex ultra gray on the side than contacts the pan only. clean the block and pan mating surfaces really well prior to installation. also, note that there is a right side up and a left and right to the gasket, as the pan mating surface is very assymetrical. put all the nuts on barely even tight, then torque in tiny increments all the way around. go slow and it won't leak.
