im stumped. i just installed my swap from hmotors not too long ago and i tried to crank it with a BRAND new battery and the starter wont turn over. i hooked the ignition wiring up right, ive tested the starter, and ive tested the battery, i have everything hooked up right at first i grounded the battery to my frame and then my friend told me to try grounding it to the transmission and i put it on the bracket that holds the clutch cable in place that's mounted on the transmission, no luck. any suggestions?

 

try the starter out of the car, be careful it will jump a little

just ground the negative anywhere on the starter motor casing, and put power to the input

 

or just check voltage at the starter while a freind attempts to turn it over. Most likely something small and overlooked
