Default Yellow High Beam Lenses 94-97

I am assuming everyone either uses yellow clear spray paint or adhesive backed vinyl but I can't find anyone selling the vinyl, which I would prefer to use.
Can someone recommend a brand of vinyl or tell me their experiences of using it or why not to use it for my high beam lenses?
I can imagine it might not last long since they get hot but some of the sign making vinyl is designed to be put on race cars which are something that get VERY hot.

Yeah I found a bunch of kinds on ebay...just go on there and do a search for "car vinyl" and you should find a bunch of brands and colors. They all say they are good for like 4 yrs outside at extreme temps but I'm sure there is a better and worse one.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by .brian. &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">would also like to know. assuming they make it in other colors such as orange for turn signals and red for tail lights (for us 94-97 guys ) </TD></TR></TABLE>

Looks okay. Are you going to get some vinyl on the side markers to make them yellow also? To match it a bit?

I'm getting some amber corners but I think it will look good.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by blindfoldedx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">is the vinyl better than the glass paint?

I'd assume painting is actually better since it would last longer but I'd be afraid I'd get a fix-it ticket and would have to strip it off somehow and stripping paint off plastic without ruining the plastic in the process is not easy at all.

hello ladies...yup i sell the oracal 8300 to vinyl out ur tails/corners/headlights. A little tough putting on but not as difficult to take off. But hey they protect the goods better then paint right?

Red tail light vinyl on 94-97 TAIL LIGHTS:

Red vinyl on 98+ JDM TAIL LIGHTS(JDM tails are on teh bottom):

yellow vinyl:

*The highbeam was from a difficulty scale of 1-5, a 3 to put on. Basically on all applications you mix warm water with soap, then put a lil bit of that mixture on the CLEAN SURFACE. The vinyl isn't hard, but won't bend so easily to a lot of curve surfaces such as the high beams and the edge of the tails and edge of the fogs. But to help it stick on you use a blow dryer and it gets the vinyl to become soft and easier to work with. As the vinyl adheres to the surface you slowly push out the water and air bubbles that get trapped between the vinyl and the surface. Cut cut off the excess vinyl with ur exacto.

Vinyl can also be bought for other applications: such as red out celica tail lights, corolla tails, rsx tails and reverse, g35 reverse lights...etc. Yup they work

Another popular vinyl I have is my amber vinyl. Which can be applied inside your clock to give you this. One of the simpliest mods assuming ur clock is easy to take apart. For gen 3 tegs I know it's easssy for a fact:

Gen 3 teg, parking lights on.

Price?

Tail light vinyl for gen 3 2 dr teg = $3.75 shipped
Headlight vinyl for gen 3 teg = $4.50 shipped
Fog light vinyl for 98 oem fogs = $4.00 shipped
Amber clock vinyl = $2 shiped.

*Accept paypal and check/mo in mail. PM me for paypal info.

*Take in account that paypal charges me ~30 cents + 3% for what you send.

anything else, PM me for info.

Worried that I'm a crooked seller? NP

It's predominately seen in teh european gt3 races,

Oracal 8300 lasts on at least 5 years on normal outdoor conditions. My vinyl on my fogs, so far it's been 2 months, same-o same-o they can withstand the heat.

I vouch for this guys vinyl. I did my tails with it and every teg owner that has seen them can't even tell that they are just covered in vinyl until I point it out to them. I've also installed it on my clock and my cruise control buttons, both of which look great, especially w/by red cluster bulbs.
I sent you a PM about getting your paypal address, just send it to me and I'll send you some money for the high beams and a set of vinyl to do my friend's tails. Either PM me or email me at dantheflemwod@gmail.com, I tried PMing you about these on TI but I didnt get a response, but I tried to on here and for some reason my IM box won't load right, well just get back to me somehow, I'd love to get it installed before winter break is over.

I probably sold to you on TI,

i've sold about 30+ sets of vinyl on TI so it's hard to keep track.

But at least now ya'll know where to go for the vinyl needs. I usually have a stock of amber red and yellow since they are the most practical and widely used colors.
