does any one has some info about SOHC ZC 118hp

what car did it came from ,

does it bolt on to a civic hatch

does it make more hp with a sohc vtec head

 

it should bolt-on and no it doesnt make more power than the dohc zc but i heard that it has a more aggresive cam than the other sohc i think you should take the head off that sohc zc motor and put it on a d16y8 block just my .02

 

why would you take a vtec head off of a 127hp motor, and put a non vtec head from a 118hp motor on it...kinda defeates the purpose of trying to make more hp

 

I think, dont know why, but he means take the SOHC VTEC head and put it on the SOHC ZC block...

 

still doesn't make much sence, but that's just me...i say use what you got. if you have a complete sohc zc, use it. i didn't see anything in your original post that said you had access to vtec parts

 

i think sohc zc has 118 hp if you put a d16z6 head it'll take you to 127hp
or do you think it is going to make more hp

 

don't really know what it would make, never heard of anyone doing it
