Default Check engine light, too lean or too rich

My check engine light came on a little while ago, and stayed on for two trips, and then it went off again. I checked the error code and it was 45 (too lean or too rich condition). I had recently gotten a valve adjustment done at my local Acura dealer (I have AEM cam gears, and my ignition timing advanced to 18 degrees), and had to replace my ignition wires and spark plugs. I had to replace the wires and plugs because the plug in number 4 had not been tightened down properly last time, and there was a ton of carbon on the plug and plug wire. I replaced the wires with NGK wires, and the plugs with NGK copper plugs. I have put some fuel injector cleaner in for this gas tank.
I want to know if I need to worry about the check engine light, or is the problem gone now that the check engine light has gone off. I was thinking that it might be some bad gas, but I want to make sure. I am autocrossing tomorrow, and I want to make sure that I will not be hurting anything more than usual when I redline the car.

I would reset the ECU and see if it happens again.

I reset the ECU and the light came on again.

I was at an autocross, and someone else was there that owned a GSR. He told me that the car smelled like it was running rich (he seemed extremely sure of that). I guess I will check my air intake to see if it's clogged, and check to see if the valve lash is too tight. Is there anything else that I should do?
