Buiding a 2.0l JDM B18c
Ok, I have this motor on my porch and it has been sitting there for nearly 6 months. I was considering boosting the b16 in my EM1 but I think for all around fun and drivability a 2.0l b18c would be the most overall fun. I planned on getting GE sleeves, 84mm CP 12:1 comp pistons and still am undecided on the rods. I was also going to use my present b16 head and have it ported by Portflow and add in some Skunk2 cams to the mix. This is also my daily driver that will be driven 80 miles a day. Now, my questions:
1. Would 440cc injectors be enough to run this AND net about 200-220whp?
2. Should I lighten the crank at all or is it good the way it is?
3. Neptune best ECU option?
Any insight on info pertaining to this build would be greatly appreciated. If I am leaving anything out ask me a question and I will happily respond.

440's are more than enough for that WHP range. You may actually be ok with 310's
I would just run a stock crank unless you can get a good deal on lightening and balancing.
Neptune is a good option, but so is Hondata and Crome

440's are plenty...I run 370's in my d.d.
Id leave the crank stock, maybe just micropolish the journals...
Eagle makes nice rods and theyre affordable too...
2.0 gsr's are FUN on the street. The mid range TQ and throttle response will keep you grinning the way to work everyday. It does me!
Get whatever your tuner is most familiar with. Any system will work to maximize your engines capabilities, its really if you want to tune yourself or have extra options that will help you decide.

Thanks for the responses guys. DO you think sleeving it is overkill? Also I had anticipated on having SuperDave tune the bitch. Oh, in regards to a header, Hytechs street header sound good?

Sleeving may be overkill in the sense that you will likely not need the strength. But if you want 84+mm, you have no choice but to sleeve. As for the Hytech header, you cannot go wrong with it if you can afford it.

Will do. I more than likely will be sending the bottomend to Earl to have Benson To their dirty work. There are places around here that can do it and that I hear are good but I still don't trust them. I had a b16 built for boost built by some shop here and they put too much clearancce between the pistons and sleeves, thus the motor always sounding like a TDI. Also the sleeves were completely scarred and you could move the pistons back and forth in the sleeve with your hand.
