alot of those are made of aluminum and will bend and break after your first time scraping it. if your lowered, just go with a traction bar because the h brace will hang low as hell.

They are just for chassis reinforcment (like a strut tower bar). Most complaints I've heard about them is that they hang too low, and that they don't make a big enough performance improvment for the money...

Traction bars actualy add suspenison arms (radius rods) to your vehicle to restrict fore/aft movment of the LCA & tire. This is what helps keep the wheels from hopping around.

A year or so ago I bought an Ebay special 4 bars for about 80 dollars. It came with front and rear strut tower bars and front and rear lower tie bars. Out of those four I use two. The rear lower tie, and the rear strut tower. I replace the front strut with my stock one (GSR) and the lower tie I took off. I *think* I felt a difference with it on, the car felt a little stiffer up front, dunno. However, I took it off because no matter how carefull I was, I would scrape it. I dont even live in a hilly city (florida). It wasnt worth the chance of messing up one or both of the LCA's. I think though if it was a track dedicated car, you could test it and see if it helps you or not.

It helps and they're cheap because they're light. Traction bars are different. I have an H-Brace, I love it, I'd buy another one. My car is lowered and I don't have a problem with it scraping and I'm on 15's.
