Default Will a B-20A-5(88-91)prelude crank fit into a B-20B/Z block ?

I was wondering has this been done since the b-20a5 has a 95 mm crank ! Would it fit into a b-20b/z block ? Cause I've been told all the factory cranks are built very well and balanced from the factory! So instead of buying a $750 aftermarket 95 mm crank I wanted to try and use a factory honda b-series crank ! Thanks for any input you guys have on this !

I believe you can... I think I remember hearing a few years ago that Crower used the B20A cranks for their stroker kits.

bump for myth busters

I have not done this but have searched it for a while on here.

What I came up with was there is machining to make it work properly. The oil pum[ drive is the wrong size and the thrust bearing is wrong but those things can be fixed. The problem is once you pay for that a $600 aftermarket isn't that much more money.

The other thing I found is a lot of people who have oil usage problems due to high wear in engines without a deck plate.
