Actually, you'll want it set to 0, not 'in spec'.

A camber kit won't help with toe correction. If they can't get the toe to 0, something is probably bent.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I new this the suspension setup. I want to make sure I do it right the first time.
So what everyone here is saying is...
"No, you don't need a camber kit, but make sure you get an alignment"
righT?
THanks

My civic is sitting on arospeed coilovers with a 3.5 in drop with no camber kit on stock steelies and my tires have very little inside tread wear at all, but if you have the money to buy a camber kit spend the extra pennies and invest in one it will probably save you in the long run but if you go 1-1.5 it wont hurt your tires much

Correct.
Just get an alignment and you will be set.

i heard skunk2 and omni are made at the same factory... most likely the same ****... i got the skunk2 camber kit, its pretty cool. just remember if you get the original version to tighten down those alan nuts good. still gonna have to get it aligned whether you get the kit or not.
