Default engine removal help

This is a 94 accord lx btw.

I'm trying to remove my engine and i'm wondering if I need to remove my suction and receiver pipe for it to clear. #8 and #6. I was told by a friend that they had to be removed but the helms doesn't say anything about removing them when it comes to engine removal. I tried removing it and a $hitload of green stuff just sprayed out and gave me a good scare so i tightened it back up. Any one with any experience with engine removals care to help a noob out?

no you don't have to remove either of those. when i removed my f22, i just bent them a lil bit out of the way. those lines have to do with your A/C ... just follow the manual and you should be fine.

When I removed my motor the first time, I disconnected those lines. You might be able to get by with bending them a little but I just disconnected them. The second time I removed the motor was when I totalled it and the rubber line was melted from the manifold so there wasn't anything in the lines anyway.

But do be careful with that stuff. If I remember correctly, that stuff can cause blindness if you get it in your eyes. That may be wrong, but I think I remember reading that somewhere.

as the others have said, don't disconnect those. are you taking the motor out the bottom? it's much easier that way.
