weird sound got me worried..
yesterday when i was making a uturn around my court, i heard a low toned metallic "dink" near my break peddle. should i be worried? driving still feels normal.
im not trying to thread jack, but i didnt want to start a new thread for a simular problem. when i going and hit a bum i hear a slight clunking sound from the drivers side front. then when i make sharp right i hear a clicking sound. i was thinking it was a wheel bearing. is it?

axle. if you make turns and it clicks, its your CV joint. not a costly/time consuming fix if you fix it right away. just dont wait.

Definetly need to replace your CV shaft...id do both of em just so that both are done...not a hard fix at all. All the auto places should have em range from $40-60...with a core charge.

Get under your car, if either one of the axles/wheels/other under car parts are sprayed with nasty grease stuff, your cv boot ripped. Also just look for tears and cracks in the boots, tha'ts another way to tell.
