Default Strange sound when turning?!

Hello everyone,

I have a strange noise emitting from my front wheel wheel (I think driver's side). Whenever I make a turn, while driving slowly (5-10km/h), it makes a strange sound that sounds like 'rattling tin cans'. I thought it was my dust/splash shield, so I pushed it back, but to no avail. The sound is still there.

Can anyone please advise other causes for this?

Thanks in advance.

DAN

could be the dust shield for the rotor. Try bending it toward the rotor IF there's room

It happens when I'm turning left or right. For example when I am turning into a parking spot at a mall, or turning into my drive way. The 'tin can' sound starts up. I don't know the severity of this, I just don't want the wheel to fly off while I'm driving.

Yes that's what I thought, so I pushed it back 'away' from the rotor. So you are saying I should push it back towards the rotor?

yeah.. if you push it towards the lower arm it's more likely to hit moving suspension parts. pull it as close to the rotor as possible then drive it around to check OR.. I cut mine off and no more rattling
