driver side motor mount insert
im trying to install my driver side upper motor mount insert. But im having a hard time fitting the insert into the mount. It didnt come with any instruction saying that we have to trim it to make it fit.
does anyone know if we have to trim the mount to fit the insert?

Well on my buddys gsr's mount, the drivers side rubber was completly replaced with the polyurethane. If yours is like this, theres a steel band the rubber is connected to and you have to get that steel pressed out of the mount in order to install the center puck and side inserts.Or you can do it with the right tools.

Thats an EK mount. He has a EG.
Does the insert go to the upper timing belt mount or the AC mount?
I know a guy who was having the same problem. Turns out, he had the AC mount insert and he was trying to get it to fit into the timing belt mount.

All my mounts are either energy suspension/prothane inserted. Everything can be manually done with your hands except the driver side (upper by the timing belt) you need a press for this and trimming a bit my help. Try to trim a it like this ‘V’ the top of the ‘V’ is the outer (outside)
