Default Problem: Car Don't Start

My 93 EG with GSR doesnt start. The starter clicks and the battery is good. The starter just pops and doesnt crank the motor. The day before the car had been working fine. I checked the rotor/cap, wires, plugs, wiring, connections, grounds, fuses. All good. I tried to push start and it didn't even push start...wtf?

The engine does not crank over. Just a starter click. I tried a new battery and same thing.

I think I dont have spark, I hear fuel...no crank. I took out the starter and tested that..it works fine. I dont know if I have fuel going to the fuel injectors/engine bay lines...

The last 2 days were very cold out and thats when my car decided not to start.
Today is warm and perfect weather...what could of happened and what can I check for??? Im lost and need help..thanks

is your starter turning the motor, or is it making 1 click or bunch of really fast clicks

Your car not turning over, has nothing to do with your car not getting spark.
Even with no spark, it would still crank over.

You say you have pulled the starter and checked to see if it was good.
Have you tried to turn the motor over manually?

If the starter is good and the motor is not froze up, it is most likely a ground problem or the power wire running to your starter.

things to try:
-check your engine and tranny gounds. See if they are intact, if the wire is in good shape, etc
-check the thick wire running from your positive battery terminal down to the starter. Make sure it is connected securely to the terminal and to the starter.

Another thing you can try is, run a ground wire straight to from the chassis to the starter. If that fixes it, one of your other grounds are bad or loose.

Sounds like a bad starter to me. You're hearing the solenoid click, but the starter motor itself isn't turning. Try replacing the starter, I'd recommend one of the Lifetime Warranty ones from AutoZone or Pep Boys.

first step is to get the car cranking. if the starter was tested to ensure the solinoid pushed the gear out and the starter turned, then check that the transmission is grounded and the contact between the starter and the transmission is clean. use a multimeter and check the voltage at the starter when the car is being cranked. if it is not the same as the battery voltage when its cranked, you have a problem. check your battery voltage and make sure you have 12.5 or more when the engine is off.

Found out the reason..i used my a 100% sure working starter and put it in with a new battery. Worked! I guess the starter tested perfected but did not have enough juice to turn the motor. Weird...I was stumped...everything checked out ok too bu Im glad I got the problem fixed.
