Taking rotors off???Stuck....
I'm doing my front brakes right now and i got the caliper off and pads, but i'm trying to take off the rotors so i can get them turned. Besides the 2 screws on each rotor to take them off, dont i have to remove that one bolt on the bottom that the calipers hold themselves onto or can i just take off the calipers and not worry about the frame bracket that the calipers hold onto.
I;m doing this now so help would really be appreciated, i've been searching as well but havent found anything. Its cold outside so i wanna keep it moving quick.

just remove the two screws and you should be fine. If you live in a bad winter area that has salt on the roads you might have some rust between the rotor and the hub, if that is the case take a soft face hammer and tap the back of the rotor untill it comes offf.
If you are replacing the rotor use a bigger hammer and beat the hell out of it, Just do it in a circular pattern so it will break free even.

Hey man...once you get the calipers off there will be those 2 screws holding the rotor on. They are sometimes a bitch. Go to a autoparts store and rent a impact driver. Not an "impact gun" but impact driver. you put the screw bit in the driver hit the back of a driver with a hamer and bam, the screw will loosen. Then hit the backside of the rotor with a hammer and the rotor will come off.
