just did a compression test r these good numbers?

Default just did a compression test r these good numbers?

d16z6
1st 150
2nd 153
3rd 155
4th 158
are they good readings for a d16z6?

They look good. All are within 5% (150-158). Having any troubles or just doing some checking?

doin some checking just to be safe turbos acting funny so i desided give her a good tune up and such.and the fact that vtec still not kicking in(basturd!)

They look pretty good. Consistency is key, unless they're like 10 12 11 14 across the board. Then you're fooked.

They are a bit low though. Did you do the test at WOT? I had numbers like that in my Y8 when I didn't, and then retested and got 205 across the board.

They're a little low. It's supposed to be 184 psi.

The minimum is 135 psi, and the max variation is 28 psi

All per the factory service manual

I thought the numbers could vary depending on the kind of tester used?

At least that's what I've heard. I remember hearing about people that used one tester, got 150-ish across the board, then used a different one and got 190-ish across the board.

No, consistency is NOT the key. Maintaining all within a certain tolerance is the key. Jesus people, get off the consistency crap, please.
