Default Injector seat design help needed

Here is the current design. Do I need the second set of O-rings on the head side to properly seal the injectors in the flange

I think it will work fine how it is pictured, one thought though.

unless you run your own machine shop, i would be a little more lenient with those tolerances. In fact, a lot lenient. Tight tolerances=$ pretty directly. In addition I don't think that the tolerances on the rail or the manifold are that important in that the rubber o-rings wll be sealing the injector, and the clamping mechanism between the two, whatever it may be, keeps everything in place.

Just a thought to maybe save money. If you have your own shop, expletive it do what you want haha.

And another thing. I hate seeing cad drawings on the internet, because instantly I start using the center mouse button trying to zoom in on what I am looking at, for like 10 seconds until i realize i am on the internet.

I believe RC engineering can turn boch style injectors into honda style injectors for $10.00 ea. I called them one about a set of injectors from an audi.

Why all the o rings? am I missing something?
Be very careful about the load you put on the injectors in compression. They do not like to be squeezed (lengthwise) and will give you a fit with your tuneup if there is allot of compression on them. Realize that in a stock motor they are usually hung from the top rail and can float in the manifold.

MSD makes a drill bit that cuts an injector seat in whatever you want.

Mitsubishi style injectors use a "rubber donut" for the injector seat, which may work a bit better with your design. You can see what I mean in the top part of this picture:

There also should be a cushion type of bushing between the fuel rail and large part of the injector body. It's hard to see, but look at the top of these injectors to see what I mean:

You do know places sell injector seats premade, right?

I have to agree with KFMRC. I work on injector plugging with all types of injectors every day at work and that seems a little off to me. One is enough. My 2 cents.

I'm very interested in this bit, but I can't seem to find it any where, anyone got a direct link to where I can buy one?
