CRX starts, runs for half a second the dies.... Have no clue where to start looking...
Ive noticed that this only seems to happen when it gets really cold out, we've had a bit of a cold snap here in Boise (13 degrees the other morning when I was out delivering newspapers). This past summer it would happen like every huge once in a while, not bothersome at all. It happend a little bit last winter, but not very often or often enough to be an issue. Today I started the car, it ran for literally 1 second and then died. The dash, engine, everything. If I turn the key back off and then turn it to the ON position again all the dash lights will come on and I can hear the fuel pump prime... It took 7 tires to get it started after school today.... Once the car is warm and Ive driven it around a bit, it doesnt have an issue starting whatsoever.... I just dont even know where to look. Im going to check my ECU connections and possibly pull the steering coloum apart and see if theres any loose connections of any sort... This is tough cause I dont even know where to start looking... any help would be sweet....

how full was your tank of gas?
soulds to me like you let it get too low and it frose. I never go below 1/4 tank in the winter.
my tank frose last year 2 times. yu can fix the problem by adding more gas to the tank.
if you are parked uphill it can still happen with as much as a half tank if it is really cold. or your ground clearance to snow is tight.

does your tach needle ever bounce around while driving? if so try checking your ignitor in the dizzy ....and check your connections on and your ECT(engine coolant temp.) sensor i had that problem with the car not starting right away when it was cold but starting fine after it was warmed up and it turned out to be my ECT so check that out
Well then why does this issue happen in the summer (only happend like once or twice) and how does that explain why the fuel pump primes and I can see that Im getting fuel pressure as well? Ill try some HEAT when I fill up this next week and see if that gets rid of my issue... My ignitor is brand new from Honda, so no worries there... Ill check my ECT sensor, I think I saw the wires being pulled out of the plug a little bit... Anyone else?

try turning the key 4-5 times and let the pump prime each time, and start on the final prime, my car does thus when verrry cold, and that seems to fix it
Ill give it a shot and see how that works as well... Maybe the water in my fuel is freezing...
