Will 14" steel wheels fit over 11.1" Prelude Rotor Upgrade?
If I upgrade the front brakes on my Civic to the redrilled Prelude rotor and the Accord wagon caliper, will my stock 14" steel wheels still fit?

What makes you say that? Because in the following thread there is a picture of a 14" rim on the 11.1" brakes.

So will 14" steel wheels work?

my conclusion is from experience in addition stock steelies are not designed like aftermarket rims. as you can see from the link above the volk wheels clear the brakes and apparently the stock steelies do not have the same clearance as the volks.

they will not. those are volks with a crazy offset. there is less clearance on the inside of a steel wheel.

What does the offset have to do with brake rotor/caliper clearance? I think the rim design would make the biggest difference. I always thought that the smaller the offset the larger the dish. Does anyone know what the offset on a steel wheel is?
I would guess 35-40mm.
If anyone in the Milwaukee WI area has a 11.1" brake upgrade, that I can test fit a 14" steel wheel PM me, I will pay you a small amount, for your time.
