i just bought this new intake for my gsr, it is Feel's. Has anyone heard of or seen one before?? i know this osunds dumb but i cannot figure out how the hell to get the damn thing on the throttle body. the opening at the intake where it would go on is about 3", and my TB is a 68mm Skunk2.anyone have any ideas??? maybe just buy a big coupler and see if it will work or should i buy the oem intake arm and hook it up to that? any ideas would be great.

I think it mounts at the end of your stock intake arm, like instead of having the stock air box.

 

that's what i am thinkin too. i just need to know for sure so i dont go buy a itr intake arm and then find out it doesnt work for that either. thnx for the help tho. keep it coming

 

does that have a velocity stack in it, i hope you didnt spend too much money on that, i dont know what benefits you will see other than having what looks like a dirty k&n filter on it, but hey maybe it makes crazy hp i dunno, i just hope it didnt cost an arm and a leg

 

It connects to the end of the intake arm. I had a DAC intake back in 95 that looked exactly like it.

and i only spent $100 on it and the filter looks shitty in the pic but in person it is really not too bad. so i dont think i got a bad deal at all.

 

and no there isn't a velocity stack in it, though that wouldnt be a bad mod to it at all.

 

btw...an ls intake arm is basically the same as a type r one, only more common. I think the only diff. is the ls one has some sore of resonator tube on the bottom. just an idea.

 

i thought about that, but last night i have come to the conclusion that i fucked up when i bought it. the intake is for a DC2 however it is the JDM ITR and those dont have ABS, i went to check it out on my car and the damn thing is about 6" too long. I thought about cutting and rewelding it to be shorter, but i think that would be more hassel than its worth so i am just pickin up the passwrd whale ***** intake for gsr w/ abs. thanks again for all the help, sorry it turned out to be bullshit.
