it's a high compression motor lsvtec w/ctr pistons..motor runs strong but doesent idel good... idels kinda low and then it kinda boggs with it....it boggs when your slowly taking off on first gear after 1500rpm then it seems fine...i dunt kno if thats how the motor suppose to be like.....

 

mayb running too lean at low rpm? I have this prob too and was hoping i could fix it with more fuel.... will have to see

 

i kinda think it could be either feul or electric , i have a b&m fuel pressure regulator i set the fuel at 45psi on normal idel, i dunt kno where it's suppose to be on a LSVTEC set up...?? motor sounds like it's running on 3 pistons only when your taking off on first gear, but all pistons giving out pretty good compressions 285-295psi...could it be the head leaking??? lmk....

using p28 chipped and stock b16 cams,

 

check engine light

 

chipped with what map....need more specifics

 

no check lights at all...

 

i dunt even kno..... all i kno is tha vtec kicks at 5600 and red lines at 9500....

 

if i were you i would take my car to a competent tuner then
