Crank Fluctuation Crap Question...
Okay I did do a search and found several threads hinting at what I think is the answer I was expecting but want to make 100% sure...
I have a 00 si and am swapping out the 1.6 for a gsr block...
The GSR block I got was a 94 OBD1 ownage.
Anyhow I was in the process of switching the crank fluctuation sensor over from the b16 since I still have the OBD2 ECU and well when I was taking off the timing belt sprocket off the crank it got stuck so I was gently prying up on it to pop it free... and it broke.
Honda quoted me $88 bucks for this piece BUT I still have the GSR timing belt sprocket...
I plan on running uberdata in a p28 thereby converting to OBD1
Basically was wondering should I just go ahead and use the GSR's sprocket and do the ECU conversion now (since the OBD1 ECU's don't look for the crank fluctuation sensor). Or will I still need this?
