Default Tenzo intake theory

I bought my car with this tenzo cai...when i first looked at it i noticed its diameter looked considerably smaller than other intakes. I figured well its cold air and it shouldnt restrict flow all that much plus even if it did the air is denser so yanno... But now i am not sure. not only is it skinny but its also longer, being a cai..and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this intake or if anyone thinks it is infact restricting airflow/ reducing power

if its skinnier it will restict some air flow but if you change it you will barely notice it

well i just want to find ways to optimize my cars power/torque before i tune it with a wideband and chip it..so i dunno i just am curious thats all..i mean its known that tenzo makes junk haha so it wouldnt suprise me if it restricted airflow to the point where i felt power losses

A 3" pipe and a good filter is all you need. I'm not sure about actual losses, but if the piping is the same size as stock, and the filter is a crappy one, then it may as well be left stock
