Default To AEM Bypass Valve or NOT TO

ok, i have two AEM ITR intakes... one has bypass valve, the other dont.

which one should i keep? the 1 pc or two piece (with bypass)

Well, if you really need the rain protection get rid of the bypass but keep the 2 peice. When it starts to rain relocate the filter to under the engine bay.

yea, im planning on cutting the one piece later on (next winter).

so just get rid of the two piece? (with bypass?)

the one piece is in great condition and powder coated red. it matches my valve cover
