Default AEM Bypass Valve?

do i really need it?

i have two AEM intakes....one is red and the other is the regular color. The red one is nice and clean and still 1pc. The other one is cut in half due to AEM bypass valve.

now, im planning to sell one of them, which one u think i should keep? i heard some stories about AEM Bypass valve foam getting eat out by the TB too..

You don't really need it in order for it to work the filter has to be sumerged completly. This thing has been brough up 100's of time. Im not trying to be an ******* but always check out the search link.
