they both fit but with the y8 head you can fit your obd-0 dizzy on wiht no mods.

the only major difference in doing a mini me as of which head to use is the dizzy bolt patterns are different....I guess z6 head flows better in stock form but the y8 has a better combustion chamber area

I ran a mini-me for a couple years with a chipped A6 ecu..worked just fine.

obd-0 if you are just gonna drive it, obd-1 if you plan on "tuning" it, IMO.

With the Y8 head you'll need an adjustable cam gear as the cam timing is 1/2 tooth off with that head (I'm not sure about the Z6 one).

a friend of mine told me not to do the z6 due to the head not fitting right. i just want a head i could install and wire, for obd1 and drive around reliably, if anyone can throw any more info in it'd be great.

also if you have an si or dx 5spd trans, i wtb

As long as you use a 1.5 bottom, you will need to use an adjustable cam gear with either head
