IM GOING CRAZY! gurus/experts PLEASE help me!
over the summer i decided to rebuild the bottom end and put in a new valvetrain as well as cams...
motor is all done and in the car. but havent driven it since. 6 months ago!
heres my problem, there are alot of symptoms so try to read them all...
it started up a few times, but died a few mintues later. i just assume this is do to not tuning. now i have absolutely no spark. so i swap distributors with a friends, and my dizzy is FINE. so i thought my ground wires were bad so i made new ones using 4 gauge speaker wire, replaced the stock ones and added one to the alternator, starter, and intake manifold, no change!
no there are noises coming from out of the dash, driver side. so i go under there and find that the main relay is buzzing. so i take it out and plug it back in and the car starts, then it dies.
this is the weird part, when i press the brake, my speedometer jumps to 140mph, and just jumps around. i hit the clutch, turn on the window washer, wipers, all do the same thing, speedo jumps. oh and the odometer starts turning as well.
check engine light used to come on then turn off when the fuel pump stopped priming. now the CEL is very ******* dim and now, FUEL PUMP DOESNT PRIME. WTF.
wats pissing me off is that i didnt touch anything inside of the cabin when i worked on the car. now all this BS is happening. the only electrical thing i did was i removed AC and the window washer pump. all i did was cut the harnesses. should i have to ground those or anything?
another problem, each time the car starts, a LOUD *** screach comes out of the timing belt side. more towards the bottom, it screams for like 2 minutes then quits.

sounds like you have a short in your wiring, if all you did was cut those wires then id make sure they are sealed properly and you don't have any contact.
maybe to much voltage through the system...thats some seriously wacked stuff, could try digging in their with a mulitmeter but without knowing what normal voltage is this might be kinda futile.
