I am thinking about purchasing ground control coil overs and tokico illuminas for my 2000 gsr. I was hoping someone with this setup could let me know how the ride is and if you recommend it. thanks

 

I have it on my 94 GSR. What spring rates are you looking at? Mine are 380 front and 450 back. I find the Illuminas to be inadequately damped for these spring rates. Plus, the Illumina valving increases both the compression and the rebound simultaneously. In order for me to get high enough rebound to keep the car from being bouncy, I must also have to live with very high compression, which causes wheel hop and general instability over rough roads.
