Default Soon to be my new baby: 88 Si

Well guys I think I am going to be getting a new whip. I found an 88 Si with 138,000 miles. It is completely stock and the lady bought it brand new in 1988. She only wants 2000 for it, which I feel is an awesome deal considering how hard it is to find a perfect rex these days. Pics will be posted when I get it.

An '88 with 72k for $500?! I think price fluctuates a lot depending on where you live. It took me two years to find a '91 Si with 87k for $3000. A mint-condition Si in Charlotte, NC was going for more than $10,000 two years ago.

Ok well I will look at it and bargain with her a little. But the thing is, nowadays, finding a un-riced crx is sooo hard.

That's a nice find if you can get her to ask a bit less. It really is worth 2000, but paying that much is a shot in the wallet.

Why do you want an un-riced rex? Just de-rice your car and call it a day. http://hondamarketplace.com/ze...07858

Wow look at what this kid just told me.

90CRXLS (9:15 AM 12/5/2005): Dude really what is ricey on my car? I may have a body kit on it, but its not one of those disgusting, flared out pieces of ****. It is a very mellow kit compared to others. The tails were ricey as **** and they came with the car. So you can stop talking ****. I never asked your opinion on my car. If you dont like it, dont buy it and shut the expletive up.

I can't believe you just said your car wasn't "Rice". Thats the most hilarious thing I've ever heard.

The body work done on that car is horrible. Look at the side skirts, that makes me want to vomit, eat the vomit, and then vomit it up again so I can look at somthing a little more appealing than that car.

i don't normally hate on ppl's cars, but for someone to not think that is rice, doesn't know what the definition of rice is, thats a rice box alright.

There was no point in putting pics of my car on this post. This post was about my new car, but of course everyone has to be a dick about people's cars. If I like something, that's my opinion and I will do whatever I want to my car. I never asked anyone's opinion on this website unlike many others. I had this car in high school and now I don't like. You all know damn well that body kits were what was in about 3 years ago. I like to do stuff to my car to make it stand out. I'm not going to go buy all these JDM or stock parts for my car if I don't want to. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with those things cause I do like some JDM and stock parts but like I said, this car was from high school and obviously, I am getting a new platform to start with.

Aaron EF9: You need to STFU. He did the right thing by going to PM's, then you blert it out to everybody? WTF? Damn...you just made yourself look like an idiot, regardless of what that kids car looks like.
