Better All-Season tire for R (Pzero M+S or Toyo Proxes 4)
Don't ask why I'm getting some all-seasons, it's a long story, I know the drawbacks. Which tire in your opinion is better for the R, thx
If it's just between these two, I would take the Pirelli. It's a very good all-season tire.
However, the Kumho Ecsta ASX may also be worth considering, as it's often less expensive than the Pirelli. You can see a side-by-side comparison test of the Kumho and the Pirelli on the Tire Rack website by clicking here.
I assume you already know that the Pirelli doesn't come in sizes smaller than 16"...

Hey thanks alot nsxtacy, I think I'll go w/ the pirelli's because I'm getting a package deal w/ a small discount on the tires. Appreciate it

LOL, that's what I figured. Guess you didn't see that you can delete your whole post?
PS P Zero Nero M+S are what come stock on the 2005-06 Mostang. Now that in and of itself may not be noteworthy but besides just the ratings that Are noteworthy that Ken linked above, after reviewing Mustang forums for a long while this tire's perfomance is reportedly more than respectable in at least 3 seasons with marginal reports for full on US snow belt or Canadian responders who tried the Neros one or two times in the white stuff and just went with full Snow tires.
I think I'd go with the Nero M+S's.

I will be trying the Falken Zeix 512 on Monday. I've heard pretty decent reviews. It's snowing where I am too so I'll post here after I go for a drive
I'm not sure about your original two choices.

Hey, that's my fault man, I thought you were being an elitist about putting all-seasons on the "almighty" R. My apologies.

no worries
i guess it comes down to the rubber composition and spaces between tread blocks. ive seen guys doll around on dunlop wintersport tires year round with no problems with chunking, just that the tires are soft and wear faster if pushed...

Nope this one is black actually. Though this one will not be rebuilt, rather lived on in a hatch I just bought. Plus it gives me the spare body parts for "just in case" in H2.
