Default Question about blocks

Alright, I see a lot of people stating a regular b16a block as a generation II block.
I thought all b16a blocks were OBDO, and I thought the b16a2 block were OBD1.
Why are people selling regular B16a blocks as sir 2 when they are obd1?
anybody clarify this for me

the b16a2 is obd2b comes out of a 99-00 honda civic SI, then the b16a3 comes out of the del sol VTEC (pretty sure), think its obd1, the plain b16 is the jdm spec i am pretty sure, someone chime in and make sure

lol, I'm not talking about USDM.
I know USDM b16 blocks with b16a2 and b16a3 from the delsols, which had a variation of both.
I am talking SPECIFICALLY ABOUT JDM blocks
your b16a2 about jdm is only partially correct!

no just asking about the years, basically
The 94-95 del sol had b16a3 blocks and the 96-97 had b16a2
then the 99-00 civic si had b16a2 block
