damn.. hit rev limiter
i have a GSR motor and i hit the revlimiter twice tonight on 2 different ocassions. don't know what happened, but i accidently bounced off the rev limiter.
i have my rev limit set at 8500 and only have 1800 miles on the motor.
i should be good correct?
i checked my oil and water when i got home and both are at level

have some head work and all new bottom end internals except for the rods. i used the same rods when i had the motor rebuilt.
i do have ARP rod bolts with ACL main and rod bearings.
i don't bounce off the revlimiter regulary, i usually shift at 7800rpm. i've only bounced off the revlimiter one other time and it was only once and that was like a month and a half ago.

i don't know what the rev limiter would be set on a gsr motor.

thats gonna be fine 8500 is plenty and i dont think hitting the limiter is gonna break anything. just dont do it all the time.
