Default 2.1 gsr whats rev limit

Some girl wants to stroke her gsr, actually she wants a 2.2 but either way. Stock rev is 8500 and i'm tryin to figure out how much this will be effected. This is with eagle rods and arp rod bolts. Also with a built head. Any examples or opinions are appreciated thanks.

To many variables to just pick a number. If you go by piston speed 8500 will be about it.With a big turbo it may still make power to 10k,but its life span will be short. At 8500 with a 2.1L turbo gsr things are happening very fast.

i think 8k would be pretty safe and reliable.....no need to buzz the living **** out of it because you can.

We turn a buddies 2.4L DSM motor to 9000 regularly, and it's an even longer 100mm stroke than the 92/95mm you're thinking of.

As long as the newer rods/pistons are balanced with the crank (and has a built head), I'd say rev it to where it starts losing power with the turbo she gets, unless its >GT3xx turbo

dh-racing wow is not the word. rip off and pos he is. dont tell me dh is building this motor. 9500 to be on the safe side. 2.2 is a big stroke for a gsr. bearing are going to take a beating too. just us a ls carank and bore to 84mm. if dh is doing it i fell sorry for her.
