Default Fixed my radio; here is what I did

In case anyone else ever had similar problems to me. I basically had the problem where the CD player was skipping constantly. I mean it skipped when I went over a small bump. Something was wrong. So I opened up the deck and found this part was defective:

The part is a small shock absorber; one of three actually. It had ripped and oil spilled out. The oil didn't cause the skipping, just the fact that it was not holding the CD tray steady anymore inside the deck. So basically I tore apart another "donor" deck and replaced the part. Now everything works good as new!

Anyways, in addition if you ever wondered what the inside of the deck looks like, here you go:

I figured $40 for a donor radio was better than money for a new radio.

Some places repair the radios but want $150+!!! I was like f* that.

Anyways, next taks is to figure out how to disable the radio code. I located the memory chip now I just need a data sheet on it so I can start using it and figure out how to program it.
