air/fuel ratio location.
i'm running a carsound cat in my LS, that origionally came off of a Type R. It has an O2 bung after the catalyic part in which i have plugged. What i would like to do is, get an air/fuel ratio gauge, and install the sensor into that bung. My question is; will the readings still be accurate?
lmk what you think.

haha... you plugged your bung
Well, what kinda of goals do you have? If you're not aiming for a 500 HP monster I don't see why that location wouldn't be fine... just my .02

just to make things clear, my o2 sensor is already pluuged into the o2 bung on the header. so now i have this extra bung, and the air/fuel gauge i'm getting comes with a sensor, in which i'm going to install in the cat.
The readings will not be as accurate as they would be if the sensor were installed before the cat, so if you're looking for optimal accuracy (and I'm assuming you're referring to some form of wide-band O2 system) you will want to locate a new bung upstream of the cat.
