Sup HTers,

My friend has this problem with his sunvisor on his DA. It has a crack in the pic shown.
The problem is when it rains , it leaks water out of the crack. Its dripping water. We have no clue on what to do or how to fix it. This DA has a sunroof. A little advice would be nice or a way to solve this problem. Thanks !

 

I'm not sure if this applies to the 2nd gen's, but the 3rd gen's have a tube for the moonroof drain. It goes to the back of the car. Perhaps it's plugged up and it's leaking on the inside of the headliner? I would try to pull the headliner to see.

Hopefully you can catch it and repair it before some serious rusting issues begin. Unfortunately, they might start quite easily because of the closed environment caused by the headliner and roof. Moisture would just sit there.

 

Hrmmm i was just about to check that , Im gonna actually take it apart and see whats up ill update if i find something fishy.

 

Alright so i have taken the visor out and there is like a whole and a gap in between the inside of the car and the and the chasis. I checked the sunroof and poured water in the whole where the tube is suppose to drain water, but no watter came out. So im still puzzled on there it is coming from

Some more advice would be Nice
