The flames out the exhaust is a old trick the hot rodders used to do. It consists of a spark plug threaded into the muffler tip connected to a switch. When the switch was turned on, the spark plug would ignite the exhaust fumes and flames would shoot out.
works best when you have Nos and a MoTec exhaust

The real reason the cars shoot flames is because they are running rich, it is common in boosted cars. My turbo teg sometimes shoots flames. OR you can take the easy way and buy the flame shooter kits that are all in the mags nowadays, but, you shouldnt do that.
