When you put the drums on were they tight or just real loose? Sounds like you need to adjust the rear drums back out. Your e-brake will not work properly if the rears are not properly adjusted. Look on the back side of the drum and there is a little rubber stopper deal take that off and there is were you adjust it.

you need to adjust the brake shoes, theyre too far in. widen them just enough to be able to slide the drum over the shoes.

then you need to adjust them by either finding a hill, or driving in reverse. when the car is rolling backward, pull the ebrake to utilize the "self adjusting" mechanism inherent in the brake drum design.

if its still spongy after that, then you didnt get all the air out. rebleed.

what about peddle going to the floor? When I push my brake peddle, about half way it slows down the car, and then if i push more, it gets hard then goes to the floor and the car doesn't slow down as fast. Same problem?
