OK..i just did a swap into my 94 civic hb..i put a d16y7 swap..hooked everything up and went to turn it on and it startes but doesnt go over 2000 rpms..anybody no this problem??

 

Throttle body stuck open? Vac. leak? how high did it go?

 

is your throttle cable tight enough?

 

i dont think it any of that..throttle cables fine and so is the intake manifold..when u pin the gas pedal to the flow it just back fires alittle and doesnt go over 2000 rpms.. some1 said that my ecu my b in "safe mode"...or could it be the timing thanks

 

maybe wrong/busted ecu or maybe busted distributor?

 

u plugged the throttle sensors wrong switch it around happen to me
