EGT gauge install
I believe it has to be something like 12-18" from the flange at the head on pipe #3 if memory serves correctly... has to be a certain temp range, so that's where it has to go. :/ sms or hytech might have some further info for you.....

dang theres absolutely no where else i can put it? cause im swapping my headers with jdm 4-1 soon, and i dont really wanna drill a hole in those headers
If you're going to put it all the way down in the exhaust, then don't even bother putting it in, imo.
Actually, why do you really need an EGT guage? You're not turboed, are you?
I only own one vehicle that I want an EGT guage on, and it's got a turbo the size of my race car engine.

the further away it is from the runner, the longer it will take to get up to temp, the colder it will be, and obviously the less accurate it will be. If you don't want it on the #3 runner, or in the DP flange for turbo; don't bother putting it on.
