Default fixing a cigarette lighter

i am sick of not being able to use my phone charger for my car because well my cigarette lighter doesn't work...i have NO clue on how to go about fixing this. does anyone know how to fix this....i'm talking fuses wires all that...i have no clue.....

Change the fuse, its under the steering wheel.

I had the same issue. I changed the fuse and nothing. Alot of times the connection at the back of the lighter is bad.

Remove the plastic clip. There are two connections that are seperated, if they are touching the lighter will not work. I just bent them apart and put the plastic clip back over and it worked fine. See if that helps

remove the center console, then you will see four screws that hold in the lighter. There should be 2 single wires, and a plug behind the lighter. Check to see if they were knocked loose. it took me about 10 minutes to fix.

What if the connections are ok, what would be a good replacement cigarette lighter? I guess is there a aftermarket lighter that can be used?

I checked how much Honda wanted for a replacement one and I think it was $30-40
