Default Need help hooking up shift light

i picked up the autometer quicklite and rpm module. Theres a green, red, and black wire. I know the black is for the ground. Is the red supposed to go directly to the battery? The green is supposed to go to the negative terminal on the coil. Im running a stock ignition, isnt the coil inside the dizzy?

You can install the green wire to any rpm signal..The best one is the wire coming off the ecu..Splice into pin B15..

Hook the red up to the ignition switch, you don't want power all the time going to it.

Just splice into the blue tach wire going into the cluster. Its on the right side plug, the second pin from the right i think. Im pretty sure theres only one solid blue wire, you cant miss it.
