need help timing belt d15

Default need help timing belt d15

hi i am changing my timing belt and i got it almost on but i cant get it on the cam gear how do i lossen the tensioner or is their another way

first off did you loosen the tensioner in the first place. if not you can do that put loosening the 14mm bolt which is located next to the waterpump. if you have that loosened i dont see why you cant get the belt on.

well if you put the t/b cover back on and the pulley, then you can acess it by taking out a rubber plug in the cover, loosen- turn over(manually by spinning pulley) 3 times to make sure all lines up then turn counter clockwise a little bit to tension other side of belt then tighten tensioner and put rubber plug back in
