Spoon Internals?
Are these manufactured by spoon or are they resurfaced type-r internals. price seems kind of low for a full bottom end. thanks.

selectively balanced by Spoon.... they are stock Honda pieces....
selectively balanced = they buy pistons (for example) by the hundreds and they weigh them individually and group those that are closest in weight.

Would they be worth it in the long run or should I just go with aftermarket internals? Im planning on keeping the car street legal, but I want to make decent horsepower and keep the car reliable.

Homeboy above is a joke account, whose last five posts have been praising Steve Taylor who has gained fame from this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1310938 .
I would just save $100 bucks and buy regular ITR pistons and save that $100 for something else.

In my humblest of opinions...there is nothing quite like the fit of a factory cast piston to meet the goals you have described.....
Whether you choose Spoon balanced or factory ITR is dependent on your budget and just exactly what your power goals are.....

I used the spoon ones before, felt ripped off. Should have bought reg. jdm itr's and balanced them my self as I usually do on my forged ones. But thats all I could find at the time. All in all I would Just use the reg. ones.
