Default headlights dimming...

Just in the last couple of days whenever i brake the headlights dim like crazy then when im off the brake they get bright again. Any ideas....thanks

i dont think so i have absolutely no other electircal problems. actually i bought the car about a month ago and the guy "said" its a fairly new alt

ill get the alt checked tomorow and ill let you know....and with the hum im pretty sure it doesnt do it

i think if itz not the alternator it could be the battery, but the battery getz charged by the alternator check both or the battery positive and nagetive wire... i think....

check ur ground cables...make sure ground that goes to the alternator is fairly good

my lights dim when i accelerate then its fine once im moving. its good to no what the possibilities could be thanks every one. i will check all of those.
