A friend of mine just recently debadged his RSX and he used acetone (the stuff to get nail polish off your fingers) to remove the goo that was left underneath.
Does anyone have experience with this?
It's not going to damage the paint or anything?
I'm thinking of trying to use it too since my Mom has a bottle of acetone sitting under her sink.
Thanks.

Pretty sure that would burn through your paint. 3M makes a citrus based adhesive remover pen that I used on mine and it worked great. Took me like 10 minutes to get all the goo off left by one emblem. Look for it at Wallgreens or something

acetone has a very good chance of eating through your clearcoat.. just as it would through nailpolish... i hope you friend buffed and waxed the area afterwards.
try going to an auto parts store and looking for some kind of solvent or adhesive remover.. just make sure not to use too much, rub too hard and buff it when you're done

I'ma try that 3M stuff... either that or goo gone. I'll ask my friend how his paint is doing since he's done that.
Thanks for your comments.
