sanding... a question
i started sanding down my trunk with 320 grit, might have been 340, anyways.. i get a lot of white chualk powder, which i assume is layers of clear coat and, but how long until i hit metal, and remove all the factory paint ?

just keep sanding, you'll know when you hit metal. yea, it takes a while...
i had to repair the side of my car and it took forever to get to metal. like an hour and a half to get the section. (by hand) its boring ...get a beer

yea the lower the grit of sand paper the rougher it is
