Default inner cv joint removal

Hi
I'm working on my 91 Integra. The inner cv joint is supposed to pull out, right? I'm in the middle of replacing the axles/joints but I can't get the inner joints out. Is this due to heat turning the grease into adhesive, or is there something retaining the inner joint?

Thanks for the help.

which side is giving you trouble? i know when i was changing my half shaft on my, driverside the one that has the intermediate shaft, i was really hard to get it out of the intermediate shaft.

all i did was unbolt the intermediate shaft and work on seporating the two with some wd-40 and some elbow grease

if its the passenger side, then u just need to get a bigger screw driver or a prybar. theres only a little circlip holding it in

There r three bolts that bolt on to the block. That is on the drivers side if you removed them starting prying it out.

Thanks for the tips, guys. Because I needed to get it back together before the rain hits later today, I skipped taking out the whole axels and just worked on the outer joints. I'm back in running order now.
